full name was Jacques, Marquette,Pere,Marquette
What does that mean? --ESP 03:57, 14 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Who is Jaques Marquette? I know he's an explorer and he was a British fur trader, but, I would like to know what kind of interactions with the natives did he have??? Were the good??? Or were they bad?? I was a Father. He was a great man! Died in the wood, a noble death. ÈĹĬ

The external link for "The Jesuit Relations and Allied Documents 1610 to 1791, including Marquette's journal (Chapters CXXXVI – CXXXVIII)" reroutes to the home page for Creighton University's College of Arts and Sciences. I think they've had a server (at the least a URL) change. This is the correct link for "The Jesuit Relations": http://moses.creighton.edu/kripke/jesuitrelations/. If there are no objections, I'll put in the correct link. Antimony1794 (talk) 18:51, 16 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Article Expansion

[edit]

I am planning to add some more information to this article, focusing on the work Marquette did with the tribes and their relationships. I will try to not alter any other work, but I may have to move things and make other slight changes for continuity and issues of repetition. If anyone has any concerns about this, please let me know so we can find a way to work on this together.BoatnerdJenn (talk) 15:41, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
