- ALT1 seems more "hooky", as in appealing to a wider audience. An even more enticing hook might combine both elements, while keeping brevity in mind, for example ... that George Lloyd, archaeologist and Anglican curate, was so outspoken that he received an assassination threat? --Animalparty-- (talk) 05:49, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
- ALT2: ... that George Lloyd, archaeologist and Anglican curate, was so outspoken that he received an assassination threat? --Storye book (talk) 06:02, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
- for ALT2, although all hooks check out. Hook is short enough and correctly formatted. No neutrality problems within the article. Article submitted within one day of creation. Article is well-formatted and long enough. With a Google search, I found a few mentions of a George Lloyd from archaeological journals, but nothing with a lot of detail. Nearly all the references in the article are offline and not contemporary, but they are accepted in good faith because the online references were fine. In any event, this would seem to be a nice biographical article. Nice job! Mvblair (talk) 18:05, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
