Hello, I'm 54nd60x. I was actively editing Wikipedia since late January, however I have not become as active since July 16, 2021. To be honest, I really love Wikipedia and am grateful for all editors who work hard to keep this encyclopedia a great place. However, I realized that it may be the time for me to take a wikibreak now and to become active in other activities as well. I may come back to edit one day, or I may be editing from time to time. I may still check notifications daily, but currently I don't have a plan to continue my active editing. I was also active on Taiwan Rail Transport Wiki, a wiki requested and largely edited by me, which I am also planning to take a break on. However, there is still a probability I will come back to start actively editing some day, which I currently don't know when. I know the users who are reading this may want me to keep editing here. I really want to keep editing as well, but am just trying to see if a wikibreak will be helpful.

When Taiwan Rail Transport Wiki was created on July 17, 2021, I was quite active there and planned to invite everyone to edit there as soon as I had enough articles. Currently, I don't think I have met my goal. As the "founder" there, I know I will probably become inactive, but I don't want my wiki to close down. If you want to come edit my website, please go there and edit. If you're not interested in it, it's totally okay. I know that my wiki may be centered on one topic, but you can also use it as a reference for information on Wikipedia. My wiki isn't complete, but I am confident it will be complete some day and I can look at all the great work that came out of it. I know I've wanted to be a software developer some day and keep my website active for a long time, but I really feel I need a break now. I feel kind of bad to become inactive on Wikipedia knowing that I could've benefitted Wikipedia in many ways.

However, there is still a probability that I will come back to edit here! And know that I will be active in many activities as well. As of writing this, I play on Fortnite sometimes and am a fan of the Dhar Mann YouTube channel. My interests may continue to change, but know that I still may edit here one day! After all, Wikipedia is Wikipedia because of so many people editing here. I want to thank all the editors here on Wikipedia for making this website a better place. Editing here was a great experience for me, and I am just thinking of trying something new. It isn't like I'm quitting or retiring from here, I'm just taking a break and may come back soon. You can always email me if you have a Wikipedia email or you may post on my talk page as well, although I don't check my email very often. I will always remember my experience editing here and thank you to all who have contributed to Wikipedia!

Hi, you might want consider whether your signature appearance and colour complies with our WP:Accessibility guidelines, in particular MOS:CONTRAST. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Volteer1 (talk) 14:08, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Image page sandbox.jpeg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.

Commons

[edit]

Thank you for uploading free images/media to Wikipedia! As you may know, there is another Wikimedia Foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In the future, please upload media there instead (see m:Help:Unified login). That way, all of the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading! --TheImaCow (talk) 12:14, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Image source problem with File:Freedom Hotel In many languages.jpeg

[edit]
Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Freedom Hotel In many languages.jpeg.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F4 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:16, 15 February 2021 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --TheImaCow (talk) 12:16, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, new editor! Here's a fun tip that I hope you'll never have to use: If you did something silly, and you acknowledge it, you can type {{selftrout}} on talk pages to show that you know what you did was silly. It will create this: trout Self-trout. I unfortunately have recently had to use it 3 times. I just saw that you are new, and I wanted to share a fact! If you want to know more about trouting and being trouted, click here. Cheers, Hockeycatcat (talk) 11:18, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Articles with Central Bicolano-language sources (bcl) indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read! Interface pages

[edit]

Hi, 54nd60x, I see that you're placing the {{interface explanation}} template at the top of Mediawiki pages; thanks for that. We probably shouldn't put it at the top of .js pages, though, like this one; only interface admins can edit those pages, so the advice the template gives about using {{edit fully-protected}} isno't going to be helpful there. I don't know if there's a variation of that template for .js pages, but I don't think it makes sense to have the existing one there. Writ Keeper  02:57, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Module:Sandbox/54nd60x/padlocklist, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. jp×g 10:42, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wikibreak enforcer

I can see you've used the WikiBreak (self) enforcer for a long period. If after some period weeks, after careful consideration, you suddenly feel re-motivated, re-analyzed the same discouragements are not likely to re-occur, then feel free to ask an admin to break the enforcement by deleting the common.js page. I'm not trying to get you to abandon your enforcement, just indicating the a possible solution if you change your mind or something comes up that you really feel you must contribute about. Thankyou. Request reason:

I'm not sure if this is necessarrily a reason, but I do want to make an important note of something so I may as well do it here. I noticed another admin changed my block reason to "potentially compromised account." I want you all to know that this account is NOT compromised and IS a sock of Xawq/Bhinegar, I wasn't lying here. I indeed admit that both socks are mine, as well as User:TheFriendlyGuyy, and that the first time I disrupted Wikipedia was indeed 8 years ago. I wouldn't lie about it, but I just feel really guilty and want to admit all I have done. If you WMF wants me banned forever from editing their sites, I totally understand. It's all my fault, and I'm really sorry for disrupting Wikimedia. 54nd60x (talk) 03:22, 16 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Thank you for your honesty. In this situation I believe an indef block is appropriate; you will need to provide a very convincing argument to have the block overturned --Chris 06:35, 16 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
