Suggestions for improvement to B-class article status

Some pre-Good Article nomination comments and ideas for B-class assessment (and beyond):

  1. Needs more independent sources, such as mentions in other pool publications. A focus on the "Legacy" section might be in order here, to help cement the fact that this article topic is clearly, and will remain, notable.
  2. The top image is way, way too wide and not how we do things like that. It causes serious display problems (like overrunning the left sidebar menu) on low-resolution monitors. Use the <gallery> function instead.
  3. Someone from WP:COPYEDIT may want to do a once-over on this; I feel that (despite having toned it down a lot myself) it is not as neutral as it should be and leans to heavily toward praise and fandom.

Overall, this is a very good start to an article.

B-class assessment criteria:

  • b1: Referencing & citations = no - Too much reliance on a single, non-neutral site.
  • b2: Coverage & accuracy = no - Not enough 3rd-party info on legacy/notability.
  • b3: Structure = yes - Article has a proper lead and is well-sectioned.
  • b4: Grammar & style = no - Too enthusiastic and fannish, see WP:NPOV.
  • b5: Supporting materials = yes - Plenty of photos, maybe too many.
  • b6: Accessibility = yes - All images have alt text, and (now) the alt text is actually done properly.
