The tools name as well as the page has now been changed. SynergeticMaggot 18:50, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't put categories on my user page. I put them on my talk page. Will this prevent me from using the tool. Herostratus 21:05, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think it should work - have a go and if it doesn't, then you know the probable cause of the problem. Martinp23 22:36, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It will work. As long as the category is in your userspace it will work. —— Eagle (ask me for help) 00:03, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How tied to Windows?

[edit]

How tied is this to Windows and .NET? ie. could I run this under Mono on Linux? --maru (talk) contribs 05:09, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure, I invite you to give it a try if you wish. —— Eagle (ask me for help) 22:03, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Licence

[edit]

What licence does this software use? Is it open source? How can one contribute code? NerdyNSK 18:31, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mozilla? …using wikEd

[edit]

Does this work in Mozilla? I am logged in as a different user in IE, and I don't want to vote on AfDs from my sockpuppet account! Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 21:27, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think it works with IE. Happy Editing by Snowolf(talk) on 17:15, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

IRC

[edit]

The IRC channel requires invitation, so not just anyone can join it. :) ~EdBoy[c] 20:55, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi EdBoy! The IRC channel currently require invite because it's closed. I've talked with Eagle_101 and he said that if it's needed, he can open it again, but I don't think we have. To be more bold, I'm not sure if anybody still uses Wikidiscussion, it's a long time since the last time I heard somebody talking about it. Let me know, «Snowolf How can I help?» 21:16, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I need to use it for my AfD work and so on. I generally like to focus on those, so something that lets me vote easier helps. Also, methinks that having a 250 mainspace edit requirement is odd... Maybe Wikipedia namespace edits? And if not, maybe lower the requirement, or just use a CheckPage like those other ones? This is a pretty useful program, it's a shame it's not used much. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by EdBoy002 (talkcontribs) 21:28, 23 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]
Well, I don't think the requirements are a problem, the real problem is that the last release is of last September and it has bugs (like the fact that on the second AfD on which I click, the program suddently closes). «Snowolf How can I help?» 21:39, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Still developing

[edit]

I may be wrong but is this project still being developed? I just found it and I like it a lot. Tanks for your work.JodyB talk 16:17, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
