Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. A tag has been placed on your user page, User:DJ Kamal Mustafa, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Contested deletion

[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (have removed website url kindly withdraw your deletion request.) --DJ Kamal Mustafa (talk) 09:05, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thier is a page of a newspaper here known as ummat newspaper kindly search my interview was there , but you have declined. I was featured in mtv chart you have declined , i was featured in ary news tv channel ( my film) which you have declined. I was featured in magazine you have declined , i have added urdupoint newspaper link which was declined. If everything is going to be declined then explain to me what is "notability" DJ Kamal Mustafa (talk) 10:02, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your use of Wikipedia

[edit]

It is clear that your main purpose in editing Wikipedia is to promote yourself. Persistent attempts to do so have taken place over the course of several years, by several accounts, at least two of which have been operated by you, and all of them either by you or by someone working on your behalf. You refuse to accept consensus, you repeatedly re-create the deleted page about yourself (under several titles), you adopt an adversarial rather than a collaborative approach to editors with whom you disagree. Your attempts to promote yourself and to oppose anyone who disagrees take up a considerable amount of time of other editors, who could instead have spent the same time on more productive work. You are very welcome to drop your attempts to use Wikipedia as a medium to publicise yourself and others who you would like to see better known, and instead make constructive contributions to the encyclopaedia on other topics. If, however, you persist in the way you have been going, you are likely to be blocked from editing. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 12:35, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yap i accept that i edit my page with my team what I'm saying is I'm adding notable links of those newspaper who have already wikipedia pages if I'm not notable then those pages shouldn't be too as simple as that. DJ Kamal Mustafa (talk) 12:43, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Kamal Mustafa (DJ), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. That was an unambiguous attempt to conceal what another editor has said in a discussion. Some of the problems with your editing may be due to good-faith failure to understand Wikipedia's policies and standards, but deliberately dishonest edits such as that are another matter. Do anything like that and you can expect to be blocked from editing without further warning. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 16:33, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, DJ Kamal Mustafa, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as SiddiqFarooq (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who use multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 03:35, 13 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Alex Shih (talk) 04:47, 13 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
