2001–02 UEFA Cup second round

The 2001–02 UEFA Cup second round was played from 16 October to 1 November 2001. The round consisted of 24 ties, with the winners advancing to the third round of the 2001–02 UEFA Cup.[1]

Draw

The draw was held on 28 September 2001, 12:00 CEST, at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.[2] Teams were divided into geographical groups, each with seeded and unseeded pots.[3]

The second round featured the 41 winners of the first round. The first legs were played on 16 and 18 October, and the second legs were played on 30 October and 1 November 2001.
