The 2024–25 South Dakota Coyotes men's basketball team will represent the University of South Dakota in the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Coyotes will be led by third-year head coach Eric Peterson, and play their home games at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center in Vermillion, South Dakota as members of the Summit League.

Previous season

The Coyotes finished the 2023–24 season 12–20, 5–11 in Summit League play to finish in ninth place. South Dakota would be defeated by Oral Roberts in the first round of the Summit League tournament.^[1]
