Abdilda Tazhibaev

Abdilda Tazhibayevich Tazhibayev (Kazakh: Әбділдә Тәжібайұлы Тәжібаев, romanized: Äbdıldä Тäjıbаiūly Тäjıbаev, anglicized: Abdilda Tazhibayevich Tazhibayev; 4 February [O.S. 22 January] 1909 in Kyzyl-Orda – 1998) was a Kazakh writer, screenwriter, and playwright.[1][2] He was named a People's Writer of the Kazakh SSR in 1985.
Tazhibayev came from a literary family; his mother, Aimankul Tazhibaeva, also wrote in Kazakh.[3] His son, Rustem Tazhibaev, is a film director.[4]
