Adrián Diéguez Grande (born 4 February 1996) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as either a central defender or a left-back for Polish club Jagiellonia Białystok.
Career

[edit]Born in Madrid, Diéguez represented Getafe and Carabanchel as a youth.[1]
Alcorcón
[edit]On 29 July 2015, he moved to neighbouring Alcorcón, being assigned to the reserves in Tercera División.[1] Diéguez made his senior debut on 30 August 2015, starting in a 2–2 away draw against Pozuelo de Alarcón.[2] He scored his first goal as a senior the following 15 May in a 1–2 loss at Parla.[3]
Diéguez played his first professional match on 8 September 2016, starting in a 1–0 Copa del Rey home win against former side Getafe.[4] His Segunda División debut came eleven days later, in a 1–0 home victory over Córdoba CF.[5][6][7]
Loan to Fuenlabrada
[edit]On 25 January 2017, Diéguez was loaned to Segunda División B side Fuenlabrada until June.[8]
Deportivo Alavés B
[edit]On 4 July 2017, he moved to another reserve team, after agreeing to a four-year deal with Deportivo Alavés B,[9] but joined the main squad in La Liga ahead of the pre-season.[citation needed] Diéguez made his debut in the main category of Spanish football on 28 October 2017, starting in a 1–2 home loss against Valencia.[5][10]
Loan to Huesca
[edit]On 31 January 2019, he moved to fellow top tier side Huesca on loan until the end of the season,[11] and made his debut for the club on 9 February in a 2–0 win against Girona.[5][12]
Return to Alcorcón
[edit]On 28 July 2019, Diéguez returned to his first club Alcorcón after agreeing to a one-year loan deal.[13]
Return to Fuenlabrada
[edit]On 15 September of the following year, he returned to Fuenla on a four-year contract, with the side now in the second division.[14]
Ponferradina
[edit]On 27 July 2022, after Fuenlabrada's relegation, Diéguez moved to another second division club Ponferradina,[15] which costed €350,000.[5]
Jagiellonia Białystok
[edit]On 21 June 2023, Jagiellonia Białystok announced the signing of Diéguez on a two-year deal, with an extension option.[16] He was assigned with a squad number #17 and debuted on 22 July 2023, in a 3–0 away loss to Raków Częstochowa. That match was also his debut in a starting lineup. On 14 April 2024, in the 18th minute of the match, he received a straight-away red card for fauling Benjamin Källman.[17][18] He scored own goal on 7 August 2024, in a 0–1 home loss against FK Bodø/Glimt in UEFA Champions League eliminations.[19][20][21]
Diéguez scored his first goal for Jagiellonia on 22 August 2024, in the 5th minute of a 1-4 home loss to AFC Ajax, in the UEFA Europa League final elimination round.[22][23][24] On 15 September 2024, he was given a red card in a 5-0 away loss over Lech Poznań.[25][26][27]
