AJ Wallace (born 31 March 2003) is a Jamaica international rugby league footballer who plays as a second-row forward for Whitehaven RLFC in the RFL Championship, on 2-week short-term loan from Hull KR in the Betfred Super League.
Background
[edit]Wallace was born in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England. He is of Jamaican descent.[3]
He played his junior rugby league for the St Joseph Sharks, before moving on to Siddal.[4]
Playing career

[edit]Wallace came through the youth system at the Leeds Rhinos before leaving at the end of the 2021 season.[5][6]
Bradford Bulls
[edit]He joined the Bradford Bulls ahead of the 2022 RFL Championship season.[7][8]
Hull KR
[edit]On 13 May 2023 it was reported that he would join Hull KR for the 2024 season on a 2-year deal.[9]
Whitehaven RLFC (loan)
[edit]On 4 Jul 2024 it was reported that he had signed for Whitehaven RLFC in the RFL Championship on 2-week short-term loan[10]
International career
[edit]Wallace is an England youth international, having played against France in 2019.[11]
In 2022 he was named in the Jamaica squad for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup.[12] He made his debut in the second-row in the Group C match against Ireland at Headingley Rugby Stadium in Leeds, West Yorkshire.[13]
