Summer Olympics appearances (overview)

Botswana competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris from 26 July to 11 August 2024. It was the nation's twelfth consecutive appearance at the Summer Olympics.

Botswana National Olympic Committee appointed Oreeditse Marakakgoro as the nation's chef de mission for Paris 2024.[1]

Letsile Tebogo won Botswana's first ever Olympic gold medal after winning the men's 200 metres, also becoming the first African to win the title.[2]
