Tangled nest : Category:Lists of cities by country[edit]

Obviously there's a great deal of crossover between this cat and Category:Lists of cities by country. I went there looking for lists of cities by population and by country (grouped on a page by country, sorted or sortable by population). I didn't even know about this one until I found an Indonesia page not indexed here that is indexed in there.

Seems to me there should be a Category:Lists of cities by country and population (or by country sorted by population, if the dual meaning of by is too confusing). Then add that cat to this cat and Category:Lists of cities by country, and situate all the garden-variety "Most populous cities in ________" in that subcat. Make sense?
