Caught in the Night is the first extended play by Polish recording artist Luna,[1] released on 26 November 2021 by Universal Music Polska. "Blind," the English version of "Zgaś," was released as the lead single from Caught in the Night on 29 April 2021.
About
[edit]As one of the most promising up-and-coming Polish artists, Luna's first EP "Caught in the Night" made her the first Polish ambassador of the Spotify Equal campaign, and her picture was displayed in Times Square, New York. She was also nominated for an Empik Bestsellers Award in the Discovery of the Year category for this EP. An English version of the initial smash "Zgaś" - "Blind" opens the album. Luna combined this release in this manner with the previously revealed complete Polish album Nocne zmory. [2] The EP was inspired by her sleepless nights.
"I didn't plan to sing in English. It just happened, someone noticed me, and I got carried away by a good wave. Suddenly I felt that I could do anything. I created five stories inspired by sleepless nights, shadows in the moonlight and dreams that fish us out of our world without our consent. Two of them, “Blind” and “Virtual River” are a bridge between this album and the Polish album that I am still working on. [3]
Blind, the lead single, is the English version of Zgaś, the lead single of her debut album. Virtual Rivers is released a month after the release of its Polish version, Wirtualne Przedmieście. Melt is the English version of Wystarczy. "Fade" appeared on 14 international Spotify’s New Music Friday playlists around the world. [4] Caught in the Night was nominated for Discoveries of the Year, Music Category in the 2021 Bestsellery Empiku. [5]
