Clarendon is the name given to the ward[3] and suburb[citation needed][4][failed verification] of Hinckley in the Hinckley & Bosworth district in the county of Leicestershire, England. It is one of the six wards on Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council of the town.[5]
Geography
[edit]The ward covers the western parts of Hinckley and is bounded by the A5/Watling Street and A47 roads,[6] the Ashby Canal[7] and the Birmingham - Peterborough Railway Line. It is home to the motorcycle brand, Triumph Motorcycles Ltd,[8][9] and is predominantly a mix of residential, industrial, and commercial use. It is also on the border with Warwickshire/Leicestershire with Nuneaton.[10]
