The Clemente Formation is a geologic formation in Mexico. It preserves fossils dating back to the Ediacaran period.

Paleobiota

Apart from the usual Ediacaran animals,the formation also includes 3 mollusks :Korifogrammia ,Zirabagtaria, Clementechiton and the trilobite -like Palankiras.[2]
