Anne Marie Evans is a renowned Botanical Arts Teacher. She developed a five step approach to botanical illustration which she has been teaching since 1985. Anne-Marie Evans is the author of the book An Approach to Botanical Painting, published in 1993. The book contributed to the current renaissance in botanical art. She developed the first Diploma Course in Botanical Painting in the UK which was offered at the Chelsea Physic Garden.[1] She led the selection panel that determined paintings to be included in the “Highgrove Florilegium” for HRH Prince of Wales.[2][3] In 2016, Anne-Marie Evans was awarded an MBE for her services to Botanical Art and Education.[4] New Year Honours
