Painter Breeanne Linley Fraser (pronounced [ˈbre(ean)-ne' lin-leeˈfray-zah]; born 18th of September 1980) is renowned for her numerous bird portraits, self-portraits, unique theory of the concept of art and dance, and pieces inspired by nature. She uses a surrealist painting style influenced by the local birds of the area, to explore questions of her own identity, skills, and palette. Her paintings frequently combine realism and abstract with strong individual and centralist themes. Fraser has been called a surrealist or 'abstract realist', in addition to being a member of the psudo-modernist realism movement whilst still continuing to use techniques developed by artists such as Leonardo Da Vinci. "If there’s one thing that goes hand in hand with painting…it’s dancing. I am an artist, a painter, an oil painter to be specific. I love to explore colour, line and layering push the boundaries with how they sit together, the way line can work to create a three dimensional two dimensional image. I often use my deep love of the natural world to be the vehicle for my work. I live locally in the Waitakere ranges drawing inspiration from the world around me. I have used painting to hold me in space for most of my adult life, living with depression has been a journey of it’s own, and painting holds me while my mind runs rampant. Fraser believes in the interconnectedness of all things—of her mind and body—and how her emotions and movements impact the world around her, and she expresses' her interconnected creativity through her art. pioneering her ideas of soul and creation and mimicking the strokes of her brush with the movements of her body, her theory of the connection between dance and art. Her technique is very unique and individual to her, and it has significantly impacted the way the artists in her community create, proving her a vital and esteemed person in the eyes of Auckland.

Bree has also painted a local Chorus box, which can be found here. Fraser has been known to host Open Studios and has won the Hetty Boare Nature theme award. She was also featured at the 2021 Waitakere arts Exhibition, was a finalist in the 2023 Emerging Artists exhibition, and was a significant part of the Auckland Arts Show in 2023.

Bree has studied at the Quay School of Fine Arts, Whanganui; Massey University Fine Arts, Wellington; and Whitirea New Zealand.
