Christopher Duffy founded Duffy London in 2002[4] after gaining attention for his innovative approach to furniture design.

Notable works

[edit]

Some of Duffy's most notable works include:

  • The Swing Table: This piece brings a playful element into dining by incorporating swings as seats around a suspended table.[6]
  • The Abyss Table: A layered glass and wood table that simulates the depths of the ocean.[7]
  • The UP Balloon Coffee Table: A playful table that uses the illusion of gold and silver balloons floating under a glass surface to hold it up.[8]

Impact and recognition

[edit]

Christopher Duffy's work has been exhibited internationally and has received various accolades.[which?] The Abyss Table was acquired by the Musée des Arts Décoratifs at The Louvre, Paris to become part of the permanent French National Collection.[9]
