Denzel Williams, known professionally as Conductor Williams, is an American record producer from Kansas City, Missouri. He is known for his work with the musical collective Griselda which includes rappers like Westside Gunn, Boldy James, and Rome Streetz,[1] and he is also notable for his work with other artists such as Tyler, The Creator, Drake, JID, and J. Cole.[2][3][4][5]

Williams is apart of a hip hop collective named "The Heartbreakers" which include fellow Griselda in-house producers Denny LaFlare and Camoflauge Monk.[1][3]

Musical style[edit]

With the use of the Roland SP-606,[2][3] Williams musical style is considered as a blend of vinyl-esque sample chops with gritty boom bap drums which is regarded to add a sense of nostalgia and richness to his music production which includes sample chopping.[3]
