From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Eric Dylan Emdee is an American physicist studying nuclear fusion energy.

Emdee earned his doctorate at Princeton University in 2022, where he authored the thesis Modeling and Physics Design of a Lithium Vapor Box Divertor.[1] He subsequently joined the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory as a post-doctoral researcher, where he has since earned the Kaul Foundation Prize for research on the lithium vapor box concept. [2] As of 2024, Emdee has been stationed in San Diego, California to study neutral fueling asymmetry on DIII-D. [3] Before working on fusion, Emdee was involved in the LUX collaboration. [4]
