Extraction 3 is an upcoming American action thriller film directed by Sam Hargrave and written by Joe Russo. It is based on the graphic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks, Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Fernando León González and Eric Skillman. It is the sequel to Extraction 2, where Chris Hemsworth reprises his role from the first two films.

In April 2024, Joe Russo confirmed that a sequel to Extraction 2 was in development, with Sam Hargrave returning to direct and Russo writing the screenplay, and Chris Hemsworth reprising his role as Tyler Rake.[1] In July, Hemsworth mentioned that the writing process was going smoothly, that they were making sure that the story was good enough to basically follow the last two films.[2]
