Fidson Healthcare Plc was founded in 1995 as a distributor of pharmaceutical products in Nigeria[3]. By the late 1990s, the company introduced its own products, including Ciprotab and Peflotab, both antibiotics. In 2000,Fidson commissioned its first manufacturing facility, where it produced Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs).

2000–2005: Manufacturing Growth

In the early 2000s, Fidson expanded its manufacturing capabilities and introduced additional products, including Astymin, a multivitamin and amino acid supplement. In 2005, the company began producing antiretroviral drugs (ARVs)[4].
