Flag of Appleby-In-Westmorland
[edit]The flag of Appleby-In-Westmorland was adopted on 24th October 2014
Design
[edit]The apple tree displayed on the Appleby-in-Westmorland Flag derives from the 13th-century town seal. The tree represents a play on the town’s name and appears here in gold on a blue field. Blue and gold are the town’s livery colours, taken from its grant of arms. The same tree (in gold) also appears on the Westmorland Flag.
Colours
