Early 2000:
CEO Greg Roderick[3] is a third-generation family member in the senior living community space.[4] He serves as the Chair of the Texas Assisted Living Association[5] and is a Board Member of the Florida Senior Living Association[6]
Greg Roderick's career in seniors housing began with his family's legacy and mentorship from industry pioneer Carl Campbell[7]. After starting at Holiday Retirement, he advanced through various leadership roles before founding Frontier Management in 2000, where he successfully orchestrated the turnaround of a struggling seniors housing company in Portland, Oregon.[8]
2000 - Present:
In 2019, Frontier Management acquired the management of The Reserve at Towne Lake (formerly Autumn Leaves at Towne Lake), a specialized forty-eight unit memory care community situated near Cherokee County, Georgia[9] Frontier's operational capabilities facilitated expansion and acquisition of additional companies in subsequent years. In 2022, Greg shifted focus to cost control to place five new projects with a cautious approach to expansion. This action stabilized occupancy rates and boost efficient in the senior living industry.[10]
In 2023, Frontier Management, LLC rebranded as Frontier Senior Living to better align with its emphasis on senior-focused services and reflect its evolving brand identity.[11] As of 2024, Frontier Senior Living[12] has a footprint spanning the United States with more than 100 locations and over 10,000 apartments.[13] Frontier Management secured the top 3rd spot in J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Senior Living Satisfaction Study, following LCS and Atria Senior Living.[14]
In April 2024, U.S. News & World Report acknowledged 25 Frontier Senior Living Communities as offering the best in senior living. In partnership with Tesis Biosciences[15] Frontier Management has implemented pharmacogenetic testing across its network of over 100 facilities. This initiative aims to optimize medication management and improve health outcomes for senior residents. [2]
