Gerak Khas The Movie II is a 2002 Malaysian Malay-language police procedural action thriller film based on the police drama Gerak Khas. This movie is a sequel to Gerak Khas The Movie. The film produced, written and directed by Yusof Haslam stars Abby Abadi, AC Mizal, Juliana Banos and Azri Iskandar. The film was first shown to the public on 23 May 2002. The film was filmed around Kuala Lumpur including the Kuala Lumpur Contingent Police Headquarters, Jalan Hang Tuah (same location as the drama) while the sea and forest scenes were shot in Janda Baik, Pahang and Penang and the warehouse scene in Port Klang.
Synopsis
[edit]Inspector Mazlan and Inspector Aleeza are assigned to investigate one of the largest drug smuggling syndicates in Malaysia led by a criminal named Raziman (Jalaluddin Hassan). This syndicate has dozens of dealers across the country and is linked to an international drug syndicate.
At the same time, TVKL, a TV station, tried to expose drug activities in Kuala Lumpur. The Special Operations Unit had to go through various trials and tribulations to eliminate this syndicate. In addition to that there are several problems that plague the Special Operations Unit itself.

[edit]The third and final continuation of the Special Action trilogy, GK3 The Movie premiered on February 9, 2005, with the addition of a new cast including singer Misha Omar.
