Global Mortgage Group (GMG) is a Singapore-based financial services company specializing in international real estate financing for non-resident and expatriate investors.[1][2] Founded in 2018, GMG operates in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and several Asian markets.[3][4]
Overview
[edit]Global Mortgage Group, headquartered in Singapore, was established in 2018 by Donald Klip and Robert Chadwick to provide real estate financing solutions for non-residents.[3][5][6][7] In 2020, SparkLabs and Mirae Asset Venture Investment invested $500,000 in GMG to support the development of its technology platform, LNDRhub.[8][9][10] GMG also received $2 million in seed funding from SparkLabs Korea to develop its infrastructure.[11][12][13] In 2021, GMG raised an additional $5 million in Series A funding, bringing its total funding to $7 million.
GMG maintains a network of over 300 direct lenders worldwide and offers financing for alternative assets, such as commercial vessels, yachts, and private jets.[13][14]
The company operates through offices and partnerships in key financial centers, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Manila, Bangkok, Seoul, and the United States.[13][4]
In 2023, GMG issued a $38.5 million asset-based bridging loan for a Good Class Bungalow (GCB) property in Singapore.[15][16] The company also provided a $400 million real estate bridging loan in Singapore, focusing on high-value properties.[17][18][19][20]
In 2024, GMG introduced U.S. real estate bridging loans for Asian high-net-worth individuals.[21] That year, GMG facilitated over $180 million in bridge loans, including loans for high-end properties in Singapore.[22] GMG secured a bridge loan to support a property acquisition in Singapore.[23]
GMG estimates its annual revenue to range between $100K and $5.0M.[24]
