Horizon is an upcoming American post-apocalyptic science fiction drama television series developed by Steve Blackman. Based on the video game franchise developed by Guerrilla Games, it is set to air on Netflix.

[edit]On May 26, 2022, it was announced that a television series based on Horizon, a video game series by Sony Interactive Entertainment, was in production by Sony Pictures Television.[2] On August 25, it was announced that Steve Blackman would serve as showrunner and executive producer of the series.[3] In April 2023, PlayStation Productions head Asad Qizilbash stated that the "same care and formula" that was done with The Last of Us, will be applied to Horizon.[4]
On July 3, 2024, Rolling Stone reported that the series would not move forward following allegations against Blackman.[5]
Writing
