Miss You is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film[1] directed by N. Rajasekar and co-written along with Ashok R.[2] The film stars Siddharth and Ashika Ranganath in the lead roles, alongside an ensemble cast comprising of JP, Ponvannan, Naren, Anupama, Rama, Bala Saravanan, Karunakaran, Maaran, and Sastika Rajendran supporting roles.[3] The film is produced by Samuel Mathew under his 7 Miles Per Second production,[4] while the technical crew includes music director Ghibran, cinematographer KG Venkatesh, and editor Dinesh Ponraj.[5]
Premise
[edit]The film revolves around a person who falls in love with a girl, breaks up with her, and then falls in love with her again, ultimately leading to marriage.[1]

Production
[edit]After the success of Chithha (2023), actor Siddharth was reported to join hands with director N. Rajasekar who earlier directed Mapla Singam (2016) and Kalathil Santhipom (2021) in their next project titled Miss You.[6][7] The title-reveal first-look poster was released by actors R. Madhavan,[8] Sivakarthikeyan[9] and director Lokesh Kanagaraj[10] on 6 June 2024.[2][11] The film stars Ashika Ranganath as the female lead alongside JP, Ponvannan, Naren, Anupama, Rama, Bala Saravanan, Karunakaran, Maaran and Sastika Rajendran in supporting roles.[3][12]
The film is said to be bankrolled by Samuel Mathew under his 7 Miles Per Second production,[4][13] while the story is co-written by the director along with Ashok R.[2][14] The technical crew comprises of music director Ghibran,[15] cinematographer KG Venkatesh, and editor Dinesh Ponraj.[5]

[edit]The music and background score is composed by Ghibran.[15] The first single "Dhama Dhama" was released on 5 July 2024.[16] The second single "Sonnaru Nainaa" was released on 21 August 2024.[17][18] The third single "Nee Enna Paathiye" was released on 21 October 2024.[19]
