- Comment: Clearly no intension to even try to improve KylieTastic (talk) 10:03, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: A single source isn't going to cut it. Every single material statement must be sourced. Please try to understand our policies and guidelines- further submissions without improvement will lead to a rejection. Qcne (talk) 14:26, 22 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: Please read WP:VERIFY. Further submissions without sources will lead to a rejection. Qcne (talk) 13:48, 22 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: I'm sorry, but I don't think this is a suitable Wikipedia article. It firstly has zero sources - a hard requirement for all articles - and also has no context, so fails that. Qcne (talk) 13:22, 22 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: Breaks WP:NOTHOWTO? Qcne (talk) 11:23, 22 November 2023 (UTC)

Introduction[edit]
The NGCP abbreviation and pole number [1]is an easy key to maintain overhead lines and help the crews to read during maintenance.. The abbreviation consists of: standard voltage code, circuit, from substation (three letter only like DUH - Meralco/NGCP Duhat Substation) and to substation (three letter only) or you can add pole number at the end of abbreviation. The abbreviation prints to the reflective yellow adhesive sticker and rotates to 90° to save space around the pole.
Examples[edit]
•8LI1DUH-HER - Hermosa-Duhat segment circuit 1, 230kV
•8LI1QUE-DUH - Duhat-Quezon segment circuit 1, 230kV
•8LI2DAS-LPI and 8LI1DAS-LPI - Dasmariñas-Las Piñas segment circuits 1 & 2, 230kV
•9LI2HER-SJO and 9LI1HER-SJO - Hermosa-San Jose del Monte segment circuits 1 & 2, 500kV
and so on....
History[edit]
Since NGCP is the owner of transmission facilities, the NGCP started to put abbreviation and pole number (or commonly known as "pole tag"). They wanna put first on Hermosa-Duhat-Balintawak Transmission Line, the first transmission line along expressway. They put abbreviation and pole number (or pole tag) on steel poles along Hermosa-Duhat segment and even Duhat-Balintawak segment before other transmission lines put their pole tags.
