Nuclear for Australia is an Australian grassroots movement in support of the peaceful applications of nuclear science founded by Will Shackel in late 2022 [1] and chaired by Dr Adi Paterson, the former CEO of ANSTO.

The organisation is a registered charity and conducts extensive public advocacy over social media, traditional media and through events.

Currently, they focus on advocating for Australia to lift the bans on nuclear power.

Dick Smith is a patron of Nuclear for Australia and has supported the Will Shackel's trip to COP28 where he interviewed Emmanual Macron.
