Nykolas Sessock (born 17 June 2000), known as Nyk Sessock, is an American professional footballer who plays as a right back for MLS Next Pro club Inter Miami CF II.
Career
[edit]Born in Philadelphia, Sessock attended YSC Academy and played for the Philadelphia Union Academy until 2018, as well as for USL's Bethlehem Steel FC. For college, he joined the Pittsburgh Panthers in 2018[1] and transferred to the Indiana Hoosiers in 2020, where he went on to be a two-time all-Big Ten selection and to play in two national championship finals.[2][3]
He was signed by Inter Miami CF II for the 2023 season and recorded a goal and five assists in 27 appearances.[4][5] His maiden goal came in a 3-0 victory over FC Cincinnati 2 on September 10.[6]
He returned to IMCF II for the 2024 season.[7] On September 8, he recorded his tenth assist in a 2-0 victory over Huntsville City FC[8], equalling a club record held by Romeo Beckham. He also stands in the all-time club top ten in minutes and appearances.
