Submission declined on 11 December 2023 by Qcne (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

Pontosense Inc. is a Canadian artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductor company that designs wireless sensing systems for measuring vital signs without wearable technology. Pontosense’s mmWave RADAR technology is used in the automotive industry,[citation needed] expanding into AgeTech and smart home.[1]
History
[edit]Pontosense was founded 2021 by Yihong Qi[2] and Alex S. Qi in Waterloo, Ontario[3] Pontosense is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario with continuous research and development in Waterloo and in other countries including Japan, Germany, and China.
Technology
[edit]Pontosense’s product is an AI sensor that uses mmWave sensing to capture micromovements made by a person’s body as a result of their breathing and heartbeats, leading to wireless vital sign monitoring capabilities.[4]
In the automotive industry, Pontosense delivers solutions for on-road driver and passenger monitoring for applications such as Child Presence Detection (CPD), intrusion detection, smart airbag deployment, and seatbelt reminders. Using other health metrics such as heart rate variability, Pontosense technology can also monitor driver alertness, intoxication and drowsiness for enhanced on-road safety features.[5]
In the elderly care and smart home industries, Pontosense uses its AI sensor for wireless vital sign monitoring in homes and eldercare settings. Applications in these industries include fall detection, remote patient monitoring and presence detection.[6]
