Biography

[edit]

Born on August 23rd, 1993.Rinaly is originally from Tokyo, Japan.

Music producer and DJ since 2014, her single "Waves of Affection was #1 on Beatport's Top 100 Chart and 56th for all genres in October 2017. In January 2020, she released a solo single “Phoenix Pinion” from the main label of Aly & Fila’s Future Sound of Egypt (FSOE) which exceeded 200,000 plays on Spotify in just a couple of months.[2]

Beginning with live bands at a young age, she later developed her production skills and mastered various instruments, including piano, drums, and trombone at a conservatory by age 14.[3]

Going onto perform at global venues and festivals like Zouk Singapore, Piccadilly, Colosseum Jakarta, as well as major international events such as Amsterdam Dance Event, Luminosity, EDC Japan & China, Dreamstate and Transmission Official Party. [3]

Her remix song for the video game Shoumetsu Toshi (Disappeared City), downloaded more than 7 million times, was featured in the game's "Shoumetsu Toshi Remix Works" compilation album.[1]

Her joint track with Ronski Speed "Horoscope", released in Autumn 2016, immediately got a lot of attention after being featured in legendary Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren's radio show "A State of Trance" (ASOT), where Armin himself called it "an amazing track!".[1] Then in 2020, she was named the #2 DJ at the DJ Mag Japan Awards.[4]

Enter 2020 – Rinaly was DJ poised to take a larger step into the world stage, but the doors of opportunity closed as the COVID-19 global pandemic took hold. She did not rest though, instead, she pivoted into the new world of streaming and challenging herself to grow beyond her mix-show and have more direct engagement with her fans. As the clock rolled on into 2021, Rinaly dropped her biggest bombshell yet, the news that she joined the storied Technoclub series by the well-traveled Talla 2XLC.[5]

In 2023, Rinaly embarked on a fresh journey, adopting the alias Rina Mirai. Now, she’s venturing into a contemporary fusion of techno with trance elements, all while embracing the concept of ‘Mirai,’ which translates to ‘The Future’ in Japanese.[2] Debuting as well in 2023 on Markus Schulz Coldharbour Recordings with her title "Brainwash"[6]
