Rodd Rafieha (born May 29, 1990) is an American entrepreneur renowned in the furniture industry and his association with Abbyson.[1]
Early life and Education
[edit]Born to Abby Rafieha and Sherri Rafieha in Los Angeles, California, Rodd Rafieha began his professional career with Abbyson in 2008, initially in sales and merchandising. In the same year, he employed one of the first e-commerce drop ship models online. Rodd's leadership and business strategy took Abbyson to new heights. He also contributed to the company achieving a growth rate of over 2,142% over a three-year span. He graduated from California State University Northridge in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management.
Professional career
[edit]Rafieha led the opening of a 2 million cubic foot flagship West Coast distribution center in 2019. He holds 7 patents for his design work including the patented ITABLE mini which allows its users to smartly operate their furniture with the touch of a button, motorized functionality and Bluetooth connectivity, becoming the first of its kind in the home furnishing industry. Rafieha also contributed to the opening of a 1 million sq ft manufacturing facility in Vietnam the same year. In 2021, Rafieha introduced the direct-to-consumer site Abbyson Home and onboarded an exclusive partnership with JoJo Fletcher in 2023.
Personal Life
[edit]Rodd Rafieha is father to son Rodd Jace Rafieha (9 years old) and daughter Emma Lynn Rafieha (6 years old). When he’s not occupied with his corporate life, Rafieha likes to play tennis and basketball. He’s also a certified 1st Degree Black belt in the Art of Hapkido.
