Stuart James Tettemer was elected as the Panama City Beach, FL Mayor in April of 2024. Stuart is the first known Democratic Party Mayor Panama City Beach has had since its founding. Stuart stands for locals of Panama City Beach first and strives to create a line between tourism and locals. Many controversies have begun due to the fear Stuart may push tourism away in a community that relies on tourism.
