The Answer Studio (Japanese: アンサー・スタジオ) is a Japanese animation studio founded on June 2004. It is headquartered in Tokyo.
History
[edit]The studio was founded by Genka Tokunaga, former representative of Walt Disney Animation Japan, after the studio's closure. Tokunaga, who was deeply saddened by the closure, decided to reunite many of the layed-off animators and staff, took bank loan and opened a new studio in Tokyo in June, 2004. Tokunaga's vision for the studio was to merge the traditional 2D animation techniques cultivated at Disney with computer animation. The Answer Studio was funded with initial capital of 6 million yen.[2]
