An upcoming American animated film is being directed by Domee Shi, produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures.
Shi began developing her next Pixar feature film in October 2022. She stated that her next feature would not be another purgative exploration of mother-teenager tensions within immigrant communities.
