The untitled Ninjago film is an upcoming martial arts action film based on the Lego franchise of the same name. Written by Dan and Kevin Hageman, the original writers of the animated Ninjago television series, it is planned to be an installment in a new live-action Lego film series and the second Ninjago adaptation following The Lego Ninjago Movie (2017).
The untitled Ninjago film will be released theatrically by Universal Pictures.
Production
[edit]On October 31, 2024 it was announced that Universal Pictures was developing several new live-action films based on Lego construction toys[1][2], with one of them being based on the Ninjago toyline, which had previously been adapted into the 2017 animated film The Lego Ninjago Movie[3]. Dan and Kevin Hageman, the original writers for the animated Ninjago television series and co-writers of the 2017 film were announced to be penning the script. Jill Wilfert and Ryan Christian were attached to produce the film for The Lego Group.[3]
