Ex
[edit]There's no mention of his first wife, who features in My Wife. The article would benefit from including her name, and for how long they were married. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 20:52, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
I deleted a piece of the paragraph discussing new nude, as it merely repeated itself and was worded like a sales pitch.

Redirect
[edit]Erm...why does Luba Shumeyko redirect to this article? Is she owned by him, or something? Paperxcrip (talk) 03:26, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
Maybe there's not much known about her, other than that she is Petter Hegre's wife and favorite model. And maybe the Hegres like it that way, and value their privacy. Randall -- 75.198.26.91 (talk) 04:23, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
I also find it quite inappropriate that her name redirects to his. There is barely any information about her career in this article. As Paperxcrip wrote, the implication is not only that her work is less important than his, but also that she is somehow a part of his work. It is objectifying and demeaning of her value as a person. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.112.156.13 (talk) 19:25, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
- If Shumeyko is independently notable, we can establish an article about her. If not, we generally redirect reasonable search terms to an article that contains information about the subject (if there is one). The most common case of this is performers with one notable role: non-notable Jane Actress, whose main claim to fame is a role in Movie (2005 film), would redirect to Movie (2005 film). Similarly, a non-notable book would redirect to its notable author (or, less common, a non-notable author to their notable book). The only time anyone sees this connection is if they search for the non-notable name. I'm not really sure what you are suggesting we do instead. - SummerPhD (talk) 00:50, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
