The East Orange Club Amateur Tournament was a late 19th-century men's grass court tennis tournament held at the East Orange Tennis Club, East Orange, New Jersey, United States.[1]

History

The East Orange Club Amateur Tournament was a late 19th-century men's grass court tennis tournament held at the East Orange Athletic Club Grounds, East Orange, New Jersey, United States founded in 1885 that ran annually for two editions.[1] It was part of the USNLTA Circuit.[1] The tournament was replaced by an indoor tennis event in 1888 called the East Orange Club Covered Courts Tournament[2] that ran till 1895.[3]
