The European Journal for the Study of Thomas Aquinas (EJSTA) is a peer-reviewed philosophical and theological journal which is focused on the work of the Doctor of the Catholic Church Thomas Aquinas.

Description

[edit]

The journal is an open access and online-only continuation of the Jaarboek of the Thomas Instituut Utrecht published since 1981 by the Tilburg University. It is published annually as a joint initiative of the Faculty of Theology of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, the Saint Thomas Aquinas Institute for Theology and Culture of the Faculty of Theology of the University of Fribourg, and the already mentioned Thomas Instituut Utrecht.[1]

The Jaarboek operated from 1981 to 2018, year in which its last volume was published. In 2019, the online journal was established as its successor.[2]
