Summary

Description
English: This is the law amending the original Swiss copright law of 1922. It extended the copyright terms from 30 years to 50 years for all works that were still copyrighted under the 1922 law at the date this 1955 law entered in force (December 1, 1955; see here, nr. 693). The so amended law remained in effect until it was replaced on June 30, 1993 by a new copyright law that extended the copyright term again to 70 years (but again only for works that were still copyrighted under the 50year term on that date.).
