The school has 16 class rooms.[7][8] There's a big playground at the school. This is the only school in this area, dedicated for girls.

Students of Garh Raipur Girls' High School received an award from Bankura Police in a quiz competition about Indian National Movement. [11]
Sports and co-curricular activities[edit]
There is a field[12] for student sports in front of the main building. The ground is used for organising the school's annual sports competitions and inter-class sports competitions.
Various cultural activities are held in the school throughout the year. Martyr's Day and Independence Day are celebrated by students and teachers with due dignity. Educational tours are organised every year.[13]
