Gheyzaniyeh-ye Bozorg (Persian: غيزانيه بزرگ)[a] is a village in Gheyzaniyeh Rural District of Gheyzaniyeh District, Ahvaz County, Khuzestan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the district[4] and the rural district.[5]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 2,121 in 350 households, when it was in the Central District.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,481 people in 563 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,794 people in 750 households,[2] by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Gheyzaniyeh District.[4]
