Hasoni Pratts

Hasoni Pratts (born July 25, 1971) is an African American public servant known for her work in education policy and community development.[1][2][3]

Biography

Beginning as the chief of staff to becoming a member of the Assembly Education Committee, Hasoni contributed in forming legislative initiatives to improve the quality of education for all students. She also accepted roles among Congressional Black Caucus, New York State Education Department, and the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York.[3][4]

Hasoni is serving a one-year term beginning March 2024 on the board of regents of the Second Judicial District (Brooklyn).[3][5]

Hasoni is a senior advisor at the National Urban League,[3] contributing to the organization's mission of empowering underserved communities and promoting social and economic justice.

Personal life

Hasoni is married to Michael John Pratts and resides in New York. She has five children and four grandchildren.[6]
