Early life and background
[edit]Newcomb grew up in Kew Gardens Hills, New York, attending Talmud Torah Siach Yitzchok and later transferring to Yeshiva Shaarei Arazim for high school. Later, he attended Yeshivas Mir in Yerushalayim.[1]
He was raised in a musical environment, influenced by Jewish musicians such as Shlomo Carlebach and Abie Rotenberg. He began playing guitar at a young age, and in yeshiva he led kumzitz gatherings and participated in various musical performances.[2]
Musical career
[edit]Newcomb's career began with a performance at a sheva brachos, which sparked greater interest and demand for his music.
