Joseph Isaac (born 1969) is a Dominican politician from Dominica Labour Party,[1] serving as Speaker of the House of Assembly of Dominica since 2020.[2]

Isaac was born on 14 January 1969.[3] He studied economics and business administration in Georgia State University. He worked as a teacher in Dominica Grammar School, and in 1993 worked in the ministry of treade and industry and commerce.[4]

He was elected to the House of Assembly of Dominica in 2014 representing United Workers' Party.[5] However, he crossed the floor from United Workers' Party to Dominica Labour Party (DLP). He was not elected in the 2019 elections. He was appointed a DLP candidate for Speaker of the House,[1] and was sworn in on 10 February 2020.[2]
