Karsten Lippmann (born 21 June 1958 in Hanover, West Germany)[1] is a retired German swimmer who won a bronze medal in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay at the 1978 World Aquatics Championships.[2][3]

Lippmann works as a swimming coach in Hannover.[4] His father was an engineer and his mother was a secretary. His brother Ulrich is also a former competitive swimmer.[1]
