Kenarporuzh Rural District (Persian: دهستان كنارپروژ)[3] is in the Central District of Salmas County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Tamar.[5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 6,175 in 1,303 households.[6] There were 5,653 inhabitants in 1,472 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 5,045 in 1,431 households. The most populous of its 15 villages was Tamar, with 860 people.[2]
